Founded by Jake Kavanagh…

Jake spent years working as an accomplished Theatrical Set designer and educator before making his way to Maine and the world of Exhibit Design. After 6 years working with an exhibit fabrication and design firm as Design Director and lead engineer, Jake left to move on to other exciting and creative projects.

Today jkdesigns operates within a 10,000 sq ft facility creating custom exhibits and events that market, entertain and enlighten. Jake has worked on arguably some of the more exciting designs in the entertainment and event industries over the last few years…

Art direction with Tribe Design for President Obama’s Neighborhood Ball, the NHL All Star Break Broadcast set, Superbowl Halftime shows for Bruce Springsteen, Black Eyed Peas and The Who and the Allstate Olympic Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Concept design/3d visuals of Marketing and event campaigns for Project Runway, Gillette Fusion, Axe/Playboy, Nike, US Cellular and Discover Card.
